Mixed Use at Gillingham

Developing the master plan and design of the first 5 phases of a 11ha site on the banks of the Medway.

The Pedestrian Street is the main route through the site to the Medway with a ‘River of Light’ sculpture expressed as LED floor lights that pulsate every hour. The gateway is a plaza area with sitting area and shops in between university housing. Boulevards are created for the vehicular route and are richly planted with avenues of trees to give a sense of arrival.

Other completed phases are apartments for sale (The Boathouse and Marina Heights) , an Extra Care block, two perimeter University Housing blocks and Public Realm.
